"...we have always been delighted with the care you provide, and the fact that our children were seldom weepy or clingy when delivered to the toddler room is a reflection that they feel the same way too"
Alison Walker (parent)

"...so at four years old, it's time for big school and we'll no longer be together if mum had her way and me too I'd be at First Steps forever!"
(on behalf of Jamie by mum)

"Thank you for all your help and time over the last two years. I have had great fun learning, playing, and making friends"
Alex

High quality affordable care for your child between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

Whilst continuing to explore their environment through play, children are encouraged to develop self help skills and independence, which will enable them to participate fully when they go off to "big school".

The children are encouraged to take part in activities both inside and out. They get messy, have fun and learn along the way. Many of the activities are based around a theme and the children are encouraged to bring in items from home relating to this to "show and tell". The outdoor area is accessed frequently whether it is the nursery garden or for walks in the campus grounds, to collect leaves in the autumn, or to splash in the puddles when it is wet. We visit the library regularly to give the children the opportunity to choose their own books for story times.
