Many people cycle or run to get fit but don’t think of swimming as another major route to a healthier lifestyle. Did you know that even a gentle swim can burn over 200Kcal in half an hour and a fast front crawl can burn as many calories as an 8mph run?
Swimming is one of the best activities to keep the body lean and the muscles working without causing any damage.
Our adult swimming sessions are for 16’s and over. Every Saturday and Sunday we run public swimming sessions 11am-1pm. We will also run these sessions every day through the school holidays. Please enquire with the Centre to find out our up to date public session times.
At Yateleys our swimming pool is 20m long, 1-3m deep and is used by all the community for parties, private groups for swimming lessons and the general public for our swimming sessions.
